Sammy Tabatt: how long do i cook pork ribs for in the oven and when will i knoiw there sone
Valentine Michaud: Before I became a Vegan I used to use my crockpot a lot. I used to think beef roast came out much better in there than it did in the oven. I'd put it in there in the morning with carrots, an onion and potatoes along with some tenderizer, parsley, oregano and garlic powder. Fill it 1/3 with water. Then I let it cook all day. Another thing that came out well was chicken breast. I used to like it spicy so I'd cook it along with some sliced hot peppers, cayenne pepper powder and a bit of hot sauce mixed with water....Show more

Joan Stavropoulos: Stock is ! made by combining water, herbs, carrot, onions, celery, etc., and bones. This combination is cooked over a period of time. The name of the stock is determined by the type of bones used. E.g. fish bones would be used for fish stock.Broth is almost the same, but not exactly. Broth is made from the meat.Bones=Stock Meat=Broth...Show more
Leif Serabia: Ive found the best way to cook ribs in the oven is to dry rub/season them, loosely wrap them in foil so they dont dry out at 275 degrees for 2 hours for baby backs and 2.5 for rack ribs. they are cooked as soon as the meats pulls away from the bone, but the longer you let them cook at a low heat the more tender they will be! so be patient!

Anibal Scheid: Basically water flavoured with herbs, vegetables, bones etc. The flavours are extracted by long simmering, and the flavouring sources removed by straining. Stocks are used in many preparations to enhance the flavours of the dis! h.Stocks are not particularly difficult to make, but do require a long time to simmer. I make a reasonable quantity and then freeze most of it for later use. Its readily available in supermarkets as well, either as a powder or solid cube you dissolve in water, or in liquid form....Show more

Tyrone Disanti: I am 73 years old and can tell you that times have changed from the old days when wives stayed home and the husband earned the salary. The wife's job was to keep house, cook, and raise the children. And she was happy to do it and it made her feel important to do so. But in today's society where so many women have to work because living is so expensive both the man and the woman help out with the house chores such as vacuuming and dusting. Cooking, cleaning, raising the children. Some of my friends alternate between nights with the cooking. One night the man cooks or brings something home to eat and then the next night it is the wife's turn. BUT...if yo! u are not working, then it is your job to keep house and to cook each night. But there are easy ways to cook now: 1. You can now get sealed packaged pre-cooked meats of all types at your supermarket in the cold section. Roast beef, pork chops, baked ham, meatloaf, chicken, and many more. They come in sealed packages and can be held in the refrigerator for long periods of time. Dates are on the packages. Ask a clerk to help you find these wonderful sealed pre-cooked meats which are in the cold section (not in the freezer). We use them often and they are delicious. Just add canned or frozen veggies for side dishes. You can also buy pre-cooked bags of different flavors of rice that you put into the microwave for a minute or two. Read the directions on the bag. These are found on a store's shelf. Ask a clerk to help you find them. Instant mashed potatoes are delicious. Just add water or milk. These are on a shelf too. 2. The new types of frozen dinners are very! good and are healthy. Look for "No Preservatives" stamped on the boxe! s. You can buy them in Family Sizes or in large bags. All of these are found in the freezer section. 3. Supermarket deli's have roasted and fried chickens. If you are in a hurry, pick up a cooked chicken on your way home. The deli will also have lots of side dishes and desserts ready made....Show more
