Alcohol is (hopefully) an occational, recreational use, but it is difficult to complete the necessary tasks to "succeed" at life whilst inebriated. And, as others have said, marijuana is better for you, as well, specifically compared to alcohol, cigarettes, and other recreational "drugs". And possibly prison time.My mate did it just before Christmas and he is banned for 20 months and had to pay nearly £200 fine. Riley Migl: Well, for the post above regarding DUI, DWI, and BAC - keep in mind that it also comes down to impairment. Statistically, 50% of! people are impaired at a BAC of .03, while 80% of people are impaired at a BAC of .05. So, let's say you have just 1 drink, but it's enough to impair you, you will be cited.Heck, I remember reading an article a few years back in Arizona where a guy got a DUI for drinking TEA! That's right, tea. Apparently, he had about 12 cups of the stuff during a lunch meeting, when he left, he was pulled over for driving erratically and cited with a DUI. It went through the courts (he appealed) and the courts upheld the sentence based on the fact that the caffeine/ephedra had impaired his driving. How 'bout dem apples!!!...Show more

Corrinne Ruozzo: Affordable is subjective. Absolut and Stoli are definitely drinkable but a little more pricey. Skyy is good and very reasonable. I'm not that fond of Smirnoff, though it's fine for mixed drinks. Also, you say strong-all these vodkas are 80 proof, but Smirnoff does make a 100 proof if you can find it. Again, perfectly fine for mixing, but it does cost a bit more.

Lonnie Jehle: Personally its alcohol but weed is alot safer from a health point of view but if you roll up with tobacco try not to get hooked. When used with a bong it's definitely safer.Alcohol will wreck your! stomach and not to mention your liver but on the bright side it is seen as socially acceptable as it is advertised/legal despite being more harmful.I can have it in front of my parents and with all my friends.Weed unfortunately is not as social for me because it requires privacy and I find I get to drowsy when stoned to be very social especially if the people am round are sober and criticizing me for smoking it.So having said that it depends on your crowd, the effect it has on you and the possibility of becoming addicted to tobacco....Show more

Donella Vasta: Fact: It is stupid to drink & drive. Regardless of the technical difinitions and the legal qualifications of BAC it is stupid to drink any amount of alcohol and drive a vehicle.

Marcelle Vanlith: They're both amazing, just best for different situations. If I want to just relax but still be coherently completing my actions, I smoke. If I want to forget everything and go absolutely insane, I get intoxicated. It honestly depends on the situation for most people.

Janita Tetlow: Absolut, Smirnoff, Stolichnaya, and Skyy all very good choices but if ! you are penny pinching I'd go for Smirnoff. If not I'd go with Stoli, it is a traditional Russian brand and is my favorite.
