Melvina Bieri: In Sweden, just go by the subway in Stockholm or by the tram in Gothenburg. You can by tickets that last a whole day, a whole weekend, a whole week or even a whole month. Basically the best transportations in Scandinavia is in Gothenburg or Malmo of Sweden because they have trams, buses and subways there, on top of it a! ll they also have boat public transportation, which is very normal, because Gothenburg has a big island called Hisingen, kind of like Manhattan and New York. Which all go by the same ticket. They are also trying to make all or most public transportation free in Sweden. While in other places they usually just have one or two of these transportations. In Gothenburg they also have bicycle station all over the city where you just pay with your credit card in a machine over a weekend or a day and you can leave it at any station you want and pick it up whenever you want and all that. When I was in Denmark I only used cabs, so I don't know what the bus cost there. In Norway I don't know the cost either, because I only went by car there too.BTW, Stockholm's subway is one of the most expensive in the world. Just saying. Gothenburg is what I would choose if I were you. You can get ANYWHERE by tram, it's easy and cheap, especially for tourist. Shemeka Laker: What kind of public transportation do you ask for? Just inside one city or long distance between different cities. Both is possible by train and bus. In both countries. And it works well mot of the time unless there are too much snow.

Andrew Sinatra: It's relatively cheap (in scandinavian terms) works well and has good coverage.Everything in Scandinavia seems expensive to the outsider due to the way society is structured. Bus drivers get a living wage so even though there is a large subsidy tickets can seem expensive. The systems are efficient though and you can get good deals on day tickets and the likes.Long distance transport is also quite good, but there isn't a huge rail network, at least in Norway, so you'd be looking at buses, or planes.
