Computer Science or Computer Information Systems?

Star Gollnick: You should choose a major you want to learn and achieve the most, not which one will benefit you in the future (remember, if you're in it for the money, then you should find a different major). If you love programming, problem solving, and making softwares, then pursue Computer Science, if you love working with Computers to solve everyday issues and working on networks, updating and maintaining systems, then pursue Computer Information Science.To be honest, Computer Science and Information Systems are practically identical (they both go under the Information Technology categ! ory). So none should benefit you more than the other as the world needs both of them equally....Show more
